1. Finished cars may not be any longer than the length of the block received in kit.
2. Finished cars may not be wide enough to interfere with other cars during race.
3. Maximum total car weight is 5 oz.
4. All 4 wheels must touch ground when placed on level surface such as a table.
5. Must use BSA wheels (received in kit).  Wheels may be sanded / smoothed, but SOME original tread must be visible (decision will be made at registration by the leaders weighing-in).
6. All 4 wheels must touch the ground when placed on a flat surface and rolled.
7. Must use the axels that were received in kit.  Axels may be smoothed / polished, but MUST be the original kit axels.
8. Axels must be installed in original axel slots as received in kit (wheels and axels may NOT be move forward or backward from original positions).
9. ONLY dry graphite lubricants are allowed for wheels / axels.
10. Additional weight must be securely attached and stationary (weight may not shift during race).
11. Only NEW cars may be used.  Cars from previous races may NOT be used.
12. Any add-on car details must allow the car to pass freely beneath finish line.
13. Cars may not interfere with any other cars during race.
14. Racers must have a current Scout registration to compete for prizes. The cars / numbers are passed out at time of registration / re-charter.

1. Parents / Leaders may build and race their own car for a fee of $7.00

If ANY of the rules are not followed, the car will be DISQUALIFIED.

1. Do NOT touch anyone else’s car (before or after racing) without permission.
2. Do NOT touch the track.
3. Do NOT run near the track.
4. If you do not have an available scale to weigh your car, please arrange to come by and pre-weigh your car, so that the races can begin on time.
